SAUDI ARABIA PROJECT

Possibly host country 2023

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is known for its desert environment. Although the desert represents most of its vast area, the geographic terrain is rich in diversity. There are mountains, plains and plateaus, and long beaches on the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf. There are oases in the desert, gushing springs in the mountains, islands in the sea, and a vast countryside with villages that border cities and towns of the kingdom. This diversity has led to a growing interest in travel and tourism in the Kingdom, both by people outside the country and local residents who visit these locations regularly.

The Kingdom's area is approximately 2,149,690 sq. km., with its population reaching 28,376,355 in 2011. Saudi Arabia represents nearly 80 percent of the Arabian Peninsula and it lies between latitudes 16° and 33° N, and latitude 34 ° and 56 ° E

The Kingdom is administratively divided into 13 administrative regions, which are Riyadh, Mecca, Medina, Eastern Province, Asir, Baha, Northern Border Area, Al-Jouf, Qassim, Hail, Jazan, Najran and Tabuk Region.

N.B: In the coming months, Saudi Arabia will also be worked on in terms of travel production, etc.
